Talked to dad on the phone earlier and asked him if he had talked to mom about the computer. He said no, but he would. I plan to get the powerbook, airport express, headphones, and case. I'll hold off on the keyboard and mouse til later. Powerbooks come w/ a free iPod mini which I plan to sell on eBay and use the $ to buy DVDs. Total for all that is $1800 plus tax w/ the triport headphones which are probably fine. I will tell them I bought the special warrenty instead of all the goodies, it's better. My other option is to not get the headphones, pay the difference to upgrade the ipod, sell that on eBay, then buy the nicer headphones on eBay w/ that money which I also might end up doing because I have a problem not getting the nicest possible thing. Noise Cancelling headphones will be too cool for airplanes and watching DVDs on my comp. Actually, I think I can sell the iPod for about $300, get the first series headphones for about $150 on eBay(not sure what improvements they have made) and use the rest(almost same as $ for iPod mini) for DVDs and that would cost dad less cuz the difference for the iPod is only $90 vs $150 for the headphones, yay. I hope they tell me tom. about the comp. so I can go get it!!!
